The Vanaways team recently came together to take part in the Macmillan Coffee Morning, raising an impressive £500 to support people living with cancer.
Hosted at Vanaways' headquarters in Bristol, the event saw colleagues across departments bring their best bakes, from homemade cakes to shop-bought treats, all in the spirit of fundraising and community. The morning was filled with good coffee, plenty of laughter, and a healthy dose of friendly competition as the team voted for the star baker of the day.
The Macmillan Coffee Morning is the charity's biggest annual fundraising event, encouraging workplaces, schools, and communities across the UK to host coffee mornings and donate the proceeds to Macmillan Cancer Support. The money raised helps fund vital services - from cancer nurses and emotional support to practical advice for those affected by cancer.
"It was brilliant to see the whole team come together for such an important cause," said Vanaways Director, Chris Jakeways. "Everyone got involved, and we're proud to make a contribution that helps Macmillan continue their incredible work."
Vanaways would like to thank everyone who baked, donated, and took part in the event, and to those supporting Macmillan across the UK.
