A fast-growing fleet servicing company has expanded its operational van fleet with Vanaways, supporting its plans to scale nationwide.
Founded in London in 2017, Dropless has developed into one of the UK’s leading mobile vehicle service providers, offering on-site mechanics, eco-friendly maintenance and fleet management solutions. The company specialises in keeping commercial fleets moving, covering Greater London and the surrounding counties, with ambitious plans to expand nationwide.
Dropless has worked with Bristol-based vehicle broker Vanaways for the past five years, sourcing more than 30 vehicles in that time. The vans have been tailored to meet the unique demands of Dropless engineers – equipped and racked to specification – so they can carry out everything from servicing and brake repairs to pre-MOT checks and diagnostics directly at client sites.
Liam Nicholas, business development director at Vanaways, said:
“Dropless is redefining fleet maintenance – bringing the garage directly to the customer. They need vans that are reliable, quick to source, and fully equipped for the job. By understanding their business and requirements, we’ve been able to deliver vehicles on time and to specification, helping them reduce downtime and keep fleets earning for their clients.”
“It’s been fantastic to work with Sahil and the team over the past five years, and we’re proud to be playing a part in their expansion as they scale nationwide.”
The UK fleet servicing and aftercare market is evolving rapidly, with logistics and delivery companies under increasing pressure to minimise downtime, reduce emissions, and keep vehicles compliant. Mobile solutions are expected to play an increasingly vital role in the sector.
Sahil Basara, Operations Manager at Dropless, said:
“Our business is all about keeping vehicles moving. If our vans aren’t reliable, we can’t deliver services to our clients – and if our clients aren’t reliable, they can’t deliver either. Uptime is at the heart of everything we do.”
“We’ve already sourced over 30 vans through Vanaways, and every time the turnaround has been fast and seamless. Liam has been a great help, making sure each vehicle arrived on time and ready for work. As we expand nationwide, Vanaways will continue to play a major role in supporting our growth.”
With Dropless targeting nationwide coverage in the coming years, Vanaways will continue to play a central role in supplying reliable, fully equipped vans at speed. This long-term partnership ensures Dropless can expand without disruption, keeping more fleets on the road and supporting the growing demand for sustainable, mobile vehicle services across the UK.
