Vanaways Announces Partnership With Fleetmaxx

Pioneering vehicles broker Vanaways is excited to announce its partnership with growing fuel and fleet cost reduction specialists Fleetmaxx Solutions.

Going forward Fleetmaxx, which is part of the Oilfast group, will promote Vanaways as a preferred van supplier to its customers across the UK.

Together the Oilfast group provides a range of services from bulk fuel and lubricants, through to Fleetmaxx’s specialisms of fuel cards, tracking services, AdBlue and EV charging.

The partnership, supervised by Fleetmaxx business development manager Cordelle Gaffney, offers significant potential for Vanaways as it continuous its meteoric growth over recent years.

In turn, it will market Fleetmaxx to Vanaways customers as its recommended fleet support provider throughout the customer journey.

Liam Nicholas, business development director at Vanaways, said: “This is a great opportunity to continue to grow our business, as well as being something which our customers will benefit from.

“What we want to do is to look after our customers throughout the full process of purchasing and owning their fleet, so a partnership with Fleetmaxx will give them access to potential cost-savings throughout that journey.

“Both our companies are looking to offer something different from the status quo, so it’s a real coming together of values and missions. We’re looking forward to a long and thriving relationship which benefits both of our companies as well as, of course, our customers.”

Fleetmaxx was set up in 2018 by former directors at corporate fuel card businesses. From its foundations in Motherwell, Scotland the company now has four additional offices in Berwick-upon-Tweed, Burnley, Ispwich and Whitstable.

The company provides fuel cards which can be used at more than 3,500 filling stations across the country, including over 800 HGV stations.

Working with a range of companies from one-man-bands up to larger businesses with a fleet of lorries, vans and company cars, Fleetmaxx said it was keen to develop more business among the community of small independent UK businesses.

Rob Webb, Director at Fleetmaxx, said: “We understand the market and the demand for good customer service in our industry. We’re keen to work in partnership with our customers, to help them manage their fleet with competitive pricing and trustworthy services.

“As such, we are constantly looking to develop relationships with other companies to fill in the other elements of holistic fleet management that we don’t currently cover.

“Finding a decent partner on the sale of vans has been a struggle for while, so we’re happy to be teaming with Vanaways and are confident that they share our insistence on quality of service.

“It’s important that our customers have their needs met with reliability and the necessary speed of service, which are what Vanaways is becoming renowned for.

“Ultimately, we want our customers to be able to run their fleets better. As such we’re in regular contact with them – either through relationships with our sales staff or via our weekly customer updates – so we’re confident that we can help Vanaways with further growth opportunities.”

Vanaways is itself undergoing spectacular current growth, having moved into new offices in Ham Green near the M5 at Bristol early last year.

Company turnover has risen dramatically in 2023, while staff numbers have risen to 72 and the business is on track to deliver sales on more than 6,000 vehicles in 2024.

Working with a vast network of suppliers across the UK, the company offers free delivery with a digitalised sales process which enables quick fulfilment of the customer’s fleet needs.

"First class service, I must mention Adrian & Ash on an excellent deal & swift turn around under the short notice I had to buying a new van. Slight delay in the delivery of the van from manufacturers end but Adrian agreed to cover the cost of a hire van until my new van was delivered which allowed me to continue working. its the first time i've purchased a van without physically entering a dealership and i wouldn't hesitate to do it again."
