Vanaways Connect Strengthens Team with Four New Appointments Across Fleet and Sales

Vanaways is delighted to announce the appointment of four new starters including three who will play a pivotal role in the rollout of Vanaways Connect, the company’s new service proposition designed to strengthen regional presence while maintaining nationwide scale and customer-first service.

Alongside them, Business Development Manager Gemma Knowles-Myhill joins the Fleet Sales team, focusing on building and strengthening relationships with larger fleet customers across the UK.

Vanaways Connect Sales Executives Jade Jardine, Jon Gould and Phillip Jones join the new Bridgend hub, supporting regional customers with tailored van sales solutions. This structure highlights Vanaways’ dual commitment: a dedicated national fleet offering and a locally based sales team in South Wales.

 

Meet the new team:

Gemma Knowles-Myhill, Business Development Manager (Fleet Team) – With nearly 20 years’ experience in automotive sales, operations, and account management, Gemma will focus on developing strong fleet relationships and shares her enthusiasm for the “growth, opportunity, reputation and vibrant culture“ here at Vanaways as well as her desire to sell and provide excellent service to customers.

 

Jade Jardine, Sales Executive (Bridgend Hub) – Combining over a decade in commercial vehicle sales with ongoing paramedic training, Jade values Vanaways’ supportive environment, which enables her to balance both passions. She gave us an insight into her excitement towards Vanaways’ “fantastic culture, fun and collaborative environment and customer first attitude”.

 

Jon Gould, Sales Executive (Bridgend Hub) – Bringing 15 years in hotel management and 15 years in the motor trade, Jon offers a unique customer service perspective and a focus on delivering tailored solutions. He’s focused on “getting involved with the team and customers, hitting targets, and keeping up with the latest models and technologies as they develop”.

 

Phillip Jones, Sales Executive (Bridgend Hub) – With more than 30 years in motor industry sales and management, Phillip is committed to helping customers find the right vans and funding options: “I’m proud to bring my knowledge to Vanaways as they continue to expand and lead the way in simplifying how customers buy vans.”

 

This talented group of Sales Executives will drive the rollout of Vanaways Connect with the local expertise of the Bridgend Hub.

Leading the way in fleet sales, Gemma brings specialist expertise in supporting larger business customers and managing complex requirements. “We’re excited to continue investing in the growth of our fleet team at Vanaways. The addition of Gemma reflects our commitment to providing specialist fleet advisors dedicated to making fleet procurement simple and stress-free.” Said Cedric Ratnasingham, General Sales Manager.

“With years of experience in the rental sector and a deep understanding of what fleet managers need, Gemma brings valuable expertise that will strengthen the support we deliver to our customers.”

Jade, Jon, and Phillip will spearhead the Bridgend Hub sales team under General Manager Ross Davies, focusing on delivering tailored solutions for local customers and building long-term relationships. Customers across South Wales and beyond will benefit from personalised, efficient van sales solutions backed by the company’s nationwide resources.
